Infectious enthusiasm
It was a really well-balanced course. Time in the studio and time outdoors complemented each other. Rosemary and Sophie are great teachers, with slightly different energies, and these blended together really well. They made SRT feel really accessible and there was no judgment. Their enthusiasm for SRT is infectious!
Fascinating introduction
A joyful, meaningful week spent in the company of wonderful people, experienced teachers, wise trees, lush mosses and ferns, and ancient rocks. This was a fascinating introduction to Skinner Release Technique and a unique opportunity to move both deeply and playfully in the most stunning and varied landscapes. Thank you!
Re-connect with the body
“An opportunity to let go, re-connect with the body, mind and natural earth all whilst dancing and sharing oneself with wonderful artists, dancers and lovely, positive open minded people.

Inspiring
“A fantastic experience. Excellent teachers… very accessible, inspiring introduction to the technique. The best course I have ever experienced by far!!! I will take all I have learnt back into my practice and continue experiencing the work.”
Leap at the chance to work with Rosemary
“I first met Rosemary as a student in 2014 when she was teaching Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT) in Leeds. I then went on to work as dancer/performer under the direction of Rosemary and Kerri Butterworth for Paperwork’s I.D.entity installation performance which took place at East Street Arts in 2016.
Since taking that first class in SRT in 2014, it has ignited in me a love for the practice and I have gone on to participate in Rosemary’s Moving Landscapes intensive twice, and Winter workshops to complete the introductory series. Rosemary is a wonderful teacher, as a mover she gives you the space and capacity to think and move freely, but also prompts you to explore to new depths – something I value as a student and try to capture as a teacher now as a result.
As a performer, I loved every moment of working on the I.D.entity project under Rosemary which was imbued with so much attention, and thought that it was easy to bring it to life. Rosemary gave me the freedom to explore the installation through my own lens, but also helped to coax out the texture and tone that she desired.
Without a doubt, I would leap at the chance to work with Rosemary again if she asked me, and will continue to take her classes and train with her in the future.”
