Harmony In Motion

Harmony in Motion is a collaboration between Rosemary Spencer and Louise McDowall. Both practitioners have a keen interest in delivering Community dance, Dance improvisation and Somatic approaches to engaging with movement and sound. They are embarking on a journey to develop as Kinesonic Artists together.

Rosemary and Louise have been aware of each other’s work, attending each others sessions and sometimes working together since 2012. More formally creating a partnership and intention to work together after attending the Dance for Parkinson’s training held in Leeds back in 2018. They became ‘Harmony In Motion’ in Autumn 2023.

In April 2024 they were awarded a ‘Developing your Creative Practice’ grant from the Arts Council England to further develop their partnership. For more information see Kinesonic Rhythms for Parkinson’s.
