highly recommend
“A lovely calm and welcoming class. I really look forward to my weekly meditation group and definitely notice the difference if I have to miss one. Rosemary teaches different types of meditations and is so knowledgeable and experienced, there is definitely something for everyone. I always feel so much better after a class and highly recommend it.”
No better teacher than Rosemary
“Learning how to meditate is the kindest thing ever for your body and your mind. There is no better teacher than Rosemary to guide you through this. I wish I had done this a long time ago. “
Rosemary is very welcoming
“And Breathe is my time during a hectic and stressful week. I was apprehensive going on my own but Rosemary is very welcoming. I love going and feeling a sense of calm after the session. So grateful to have this locally!”
Very calming
“I really enjoyed the 5 weeks sessions. Rosemary was/is very calming and explains things clearly and simply.”
Skilful guidance
“Just spent a week up on Otley Chevin with Rosemary on the Skinner Releasing Technique week. I’ve worked with several leading teachers in the somatic movement dance field and I was delighted to find I was in very capable hands with Rosemary’s skilful guidance. She has that capacity to hold and facilitate a group so that you barely even notice it, facilitation at its best for me! What lies beneath that though is her years of training and experience in many modalities that she brings together to offer space for body-mind integration using meditative movement practices to find your own inner movement. Delicious. I will be back next year.”
Open and friendly
“Thanks for a new experience. You’ve been a really open and friendly teacher.”
Goes above and beyond
I have known Rosemary professionally since managing the team for supporting deaf students at Bradford College. Rosemary always goes above and beyond her stated duties. Even though she was employed as a freelance member of the team she would always be keen to attend team meetings and training. She is extremely professional and popular with a huge range of deaf students (from entry level with additional needs through to deaf students studying for degrees). She is very passionate about students having appropriate access to their chosen courses.
She is one of those members of staff who you can put anywhere and never have any niggling doubts that she’ll do anything other than a great job. Although she is more qualified than most of the permanent CSW team I have never heard her be anything other than encouraging and supportive. On the odd occasion that she has found herself in less than ideal situations (whether tutor or student or environment) she has always come to discuss it and been solution-focussed. Although I can’t comment on Rosie’s interpreting work outside of the education field I wouldn’t hesitate to employ her for her interpreting skills, passion and professionalism.
Enjoyed
“I enjoyed trying the different types of meditations. It helps calms the anxiety!”
An hour well spent
“Rosemary is a very welcoming, caring and knowledgeable teacher and her meditation classes are very relaxing. She creates a little oasis of calm. The classes are nicely paced with a variety of different practices and the rest of the are friendly, so I always feel completely at ease. I always go away feeling mentally refreshed and feeling it was an hour well spent.”
